Proceedings Submission: August 15 (Mon) - September 9 (Fri), 2011

As a rule, above periods will not be extended.
New submission or modification will not be accepted after the deadline.

【Submission Procedure】
1. Please complete abstract submission via online system by July 29(Fri).
                               August 4(Thu)


2. Notification of Acceptance/Rejection will be sent from the secretariat by e-mail around August 10(Wed).

3. Those who are accepted, please submit proceedings to the secretariat by e-mail no later than September 9(Fri).

2. Language of Presentation
As described below, the language to be used in the presentations will vary with the type of presentation.

Oral presentation English (Nov 16 and 17) or Japanese (Nov 18)
Please select a language when abstract submission.
Poster presentation English (Nov 16) or Japanese (Nov 18).
Posters should be made in English.
Poster presentation for Young Scientists Poster Awards English (Nov 16).
Posters should be made in English.
The awardee will be required to make a poster presentation on Nov 18.

3. Length of Abstract
Abstract→ Up to 600 characters(including spaces)
Proceedings→ 2 or 4 pages of A4 size

4. Young Scientists Poster Awards
As a part of the Young Researcher Cultivation Program of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Society of Japan, the Young Scientists Poster Awards will be given to the most outstanding poster presentation by a young scientist (society member) as previous conferences.

If you wish to apply for the Young Scientists Poster Awards, please select it when abstract submission.
Please refer to the qualifications for applicants beforehand. Unlike previous conferences, applicants will make only poster presentation.

Awardees will be selected based on the applicants’ proceedings and poster presentations on Nov 16.

【Abstract submission】
Please access the online system from the button below, then enter the necessary information. Registration ID beginning with 50 will be required for submission. Please complete Registration and obtain Registration ID beforehand.
A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you automatically once you complete abstract submission. It will normally take a few minutes to receive confirmation. In case you receive nothing, please contact the secretariat.

Preference for Oral Presentation
Some papers will be accepted as oral presentations. Please select “Yes” if you wish to have your paper considered as oral presentation. The Program Committee will make the selections.

Abstract Submission Entry

【Proceedings Submission】
Please download the template(MS word) and write the proceeding on it.Your proceeding must follow the template exactly, specifically, please use the fonts, sizes, and styles indicated.

Please submit your proceeding in PDF file converted from word to the secretariat by email. When converting to PDF file, please be sure to embed the fonts. Otherwise the characters could get corrupted on printing. Please follow the format guideline below. You will receive a confirmation of receipt via email. It may take a couple of days for you to receive as it is not automatically.

File format  Please confirm before you send!
Paper size: A4
Number of pages: 2 or 4
(For layout purpose, please do not use an odd number of pages.)
Margins: Top 25mm/Bottom 25mm/Left 20mm/Right 20mm
Label: Please specify the name for each table and figure.
ex. Figure 1, Fig. 1, Table1
File: PDF
File name: Please name the file “Registration ID.pdf.” For example, if your Registration ID is 500001, the file name should be “500001.pdf.”

Please use the same title, author(s), keywords, etc., as abstract. Please avoid any changes.

5. Modification
● For abstract
During abstract submission period, you can modify your registered information online. Please login using Registration ID and Password you registered from the login page for modification.

Confirmation e-mail with the updated information will be sent to you after modification, please check it.
Please note that no modification will be accepted after the deadline.

● For proceedings
Replacement will be acceptable only during proceedings submission period. Please send new proceeding to the secretariat.
Please note that no replacement will be accepted after the deadline.

6. Notification of Acceptance/Rejection
Notification of Acceptance/Rejection will be sent to you by e-mail around August 10(Wed). If you registered a free e-mail address, the notification might have difficulty reaching you. Therefore, please register a fixed e-mail address if possible. Please leave the determination of acceptance / rejection to the Program Committee.

7. Disclosure on the Web
At the 50th Annual Meeting of the NMR Society of Japan, we will publicly disclose all the abstracts online after we complete printing and mailing around the end of October.
Also, after the program is decided around September, program including the title, author(s) and affiliation(s) will be released on the website. In case your abstract contains unpublished data or you are going to file a patent application, please be aware.
